Daylight - At Mont-Mégantic Summit Weather permitting, you can safely observe the Sun through a special telescope.
From May 17 to June 20, 2008 : Saturday and Sunday between noon to 4:00 p.m.

Place of the curious one You can go at your own pace as you discover this colourful kiosk about the park's natural riches! Little ones who like to touch everything will love it, and nature will enchant people of all ages. Available in the summer.

Terre aux Étoiles Trail If we were to spread the history of the Universe and life over the 6 km of trails that lead to the summit of Mont Mégantic, each of our footsteps would represent several million years! And that's exactly what we have done: the Terre aux étoiles trail is a unique hike across the history of the Universe and life. From the Big Bang all the way to today, measure the time proportions of the cosmos, life, and humanity to the rhythm of your footsteps. Bon voyage!

Taking in the Scenery - At Mont-Mégantic Summit Contemplate the breathtaking view at an altitude of 1,100 m (3,600 ft). Its main features will be explained. See schedule in Daytime tour of the Observatory.
Living with Nature This giant-screen presentation, Inhabiting Nature, which takes place in the multimedia room, is about the history of our environment and our current relationship with it. What global and local indicators allow us to measure the health of the planet and Parc national du Mont-Mégantic?

The Fabulous History of Mont Saint-Joseph Learn about the fabulous history of Mont Saint-Joseph at the summit of a spectacular landscape on summer afternoons. The warm and welcoming Emma Roy, brought to life by one of our animators, will transport you to the end of the 19th century so that you can relive the beginnings of the region's colonization. Through her life and those of her parents, pioneers of Notre-Dame-des-Bois, you will witness the history of this chapel overlooking the Appalachians. Accessible and familial, the enchanting site of Mont Saint-Joseph is the perfect setting to give in to the wind's caress and experience the touching story of a unique sanctuary.

An Eyeful! Take a peek through our giant binoculars and observe the details of the magnificent landscape from atop Mont Saint-Joseph. A guide will be available to answer your questions all afternoon.

The Pluto on Earth Room Located in the Interpretation and Visitors Centre, this interpretation room highlights the park's natural riches. Through interactive modules, it tells of the events leading to the geological formation of the mountain, the history of the Mont Saint-Joseph sanctuary, and the characteristics of the mountain climate.
