Daytime tour of the Observatory |
| | The Mount Megantic Observatory, located at the top of the mountain since 1978, is accessible every day of the summer as part of our guided tours. You will be accompanied by an enthusiastic guide who will help you discover the best performing telescope (1.6 metres) in Canada and explain its operation as well as the work and research accomplished by the astronomers.
Your visit to the summit , includes a reading the scenery activity at no extra charge. (Wheather permited).
From May 22nd to June 25th, 2010 : Saturdays and Sundays noon to 4:30 pm
From June 26th to August 29th : every day noon to 4:30 pm
From August 30th to October 10th : Saturdays and Sundays noon to 4:30 pm
Check with reception personnel for the activity schedules. The guided tours are conducted in French. | |
