Daytime tour of the ASTROLab |
| | Located at the base of Mount Megantic, the ASTROLab is an astronomy activity center.
You can visit the ASTROLab by yourself or with our guide.
The visit is divided in three parts :
Visit the new exhibition room "From a Starry Sky to the Infinite Universe", Relive the evolution of our conception of Space from the previous time of our Ancestors up to this inconceivable immensity discovered recently.

Finally, visit the "Cosmolab-Velan" : Birth and History of the Cosmos. This exhibition is a unique presentation of cosmology. Find out about the theories which intend to describe the origin of the Universe, like the Big Bang, or the Big Crunch. | |
an HD movie which will bring you to the outermost bounds of the Universe, in our multimedia hall. The public is thrilled by its high quality and originality. | |
During the Summer season, you can also attend a Children's workshop. Adjustments can be made to accomodate groups.
From May 22nd to June 25th 2010 : Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4:30 pm
From June 26th to August 29th : every day from noon to 4:30 pm
From August 30th to October 10th : Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4:30 pm
